Ustad Bismillah Khan was Born on 21st March 1916 in Dumroan, in the province of Bihar, India. He was the second child of Mitthan.and Paigambar Khan. He was conceived in a family which had a melodic foundation and his progenitors were performers in the royal conditions of Bhojpur.


His uncle Ali Baksh ‘Vilayatu’, a prominent shehnai player acquainted him with Shehnai and turned into his tutor and instructor. Demise Info

In 2006, Ustad Bismillah Khan was unwell and admitted to healing center on 17 August. However, his condition did not make strides. A couple of days after the fact on 21-08-2006, he discovered dead because of heart failure at 90 years old.
